WeddingCraftr·Text messages

A text, on the day.

WeddingCraftr can send you a small number of text messages about a trip or a wedding you are part of: the run sheet on the morning of, a reminder that something is waiting on you. It is off until you turn it on, it is never marketing, and one word stops it.

How you turn it on

Consent is given by the person who owns the phone, from their own handset, and nowhere else. Sign in at app.weddingcraftr.com, open Your settings → Text messages, and the card shows a six-character code and our number. You text that code to us. Your text is the opt-in: until it arrives we have no number for you and send you nothing.

Text this code to connect. WeddingCraftr will then send you service texts about the trips and weddings you are part of — message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end, HELP for help. See our terms and privacy policy.

That is the whole of what you are agreeing to, and it sits beside the code on the card. Connecting is not a condition of buying anything, and the app works the same if you never do.

What we send

  • Answers to what you text us. Lorenzo, the assistant inside the app, replies to your own questions about your plans. You write first, every time.
  • The run sheet, on the morning of. Once, to the crew and vendors a planner has listed for that day, with a link to the sheet and the next thing on it.

Message frequency varies with what is happening in your plans, and in a quiet month there is nothing at all. We do not send marketing texts, promotions, or anything you did not ask for by name.

What it costs

Nothing from us. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, as they would for any text.

How you stop it

Reply STOP to any message we send and we stop, immediately and permanently, without you having to open the app. START begins it again; HELP returns our contact details. You can also clear the tick in Your settings → Text messages, or write to support@weddingcraftr.com and we will do it for you. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

If a planner added your number

A wedding planner can list a vendor or a day-of contact with a phone number, so that the run sheet reaches the florist and the photographer on the morning. Those are the working numbers of people hired for the day, they receive one message about that day, and STOP ends it for good. A guest list imported from elsewhere never receives a text: an imported number cannot be messaged until its owner has ticked the box themselves.

Your number, and who sees it

We do not sell or rent phone numbers, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers go to our messaging carrier for the sole purpose of delivering the messages described on this page. The privacy policy sets out the rest.
